the electric duo emilie škrijelj / tom malmendier continues to draw new landscapes with their second album "tropism" on carton records.
a turntable, a battery, for a voluble and wild music, like the first track "pua pii", flower from the marquesas islands which sticks and hangs thanks to its hook-shaped edges. playful and mischievous also like the song "patoko mata", a grass that islanders, children, put in their eyes to keep them wide open.
the furrows strike electrified skins, an abstract language where percussions and electronics intermingle, like a dance on embers.
